Terms of Service · Public Beta

A simple agreement for using Occasly.

Occasly is currently offered as a public beta. By using it, you agree to these terms and understand that some features may change as we refine the product.

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to create an account or host an event. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Beta availability

During beta, Occasly may be invitation-only, waitlist-based, free, discounted, or limited in capacity. Features, limits, designs, and availability may change without notice as we prepare the service for broader release.

Your content

You keep ownership of event details, images, guest lists, journal entries, album uploads, and other content you submit. You grant Occasly permission to host, process, display, send, and back up that content as needed to provide the service.

Guest information

Hosts are responsible for having permission to add guest names, email addresses, and related details. Do not upload sensitive information unless it is necessary for the event and you are authorized to share it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Occasly for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harassing, infringing, or spammy activity. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access another account, scrape private data, or send invitations to people who should not receive them.

Email and links

Occasly may send invitations, RSVP confirmations, reminders, and host notifications. Invitation links can be forwarded by recipients, so hosts should treat public links as shareable unless additional access controls are available and enabled.

Third-party services

Occasly may connect to third-party services for hosting, authentication, database, storage, analytics, and email delivery. We are not responsible for third-party websites or links that hosts add to invitations.

No warranties

The beta is provided as-is and as-available. We work hard to keep Occasly reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Occasly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or event-related costs.
